Reflective glass beads

　　Reflective glass beads are the core material for producing new types of optically functional composite materials, such as reflective fabrics, reflective films, and reflective coatings. They possess retroreflective properties, which generate a strong retroreflection effect without the need for an external power source. These beads can be widely used in fields including roads, ports, mines, fire protection, and traffic safety, serving as safety signs that significantly enhance people's safety and reliability.

　　Currently, our company produces glass microbeads in several specifications with refractive indices greater than N1.9, N1.93, and greater than N2.2. The particle size range for inspection is from 150 mesh to 500 mesh (available in graded sizes). Our products exhibit excellent flowability, superior color characteristics, high sphericity, and a transparency exceeding 95%.

　　Principle of Retroreflection: Reflective materials utilize high-refractive-index glass microbeads with an aluminum coating on the rear surface as retroreflectors, providing exceptionally strong reverse-retroreflection performance. These materials can reflect 85% of incident light directly back to the light source. The intense brightness resulting from this retroreflection enables drivers to clearly spot pedestrians or obstacles even in nighttime conditions with artificial lighting or poor visibility, thereby ensuring the safety of both parties.
